William Joseph “Billy” Nemenz, 43, died suddenly on May 26, 2010.

A celebration of his life will be held 6:00PM Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends following the service at the funeral home.

A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, Billy was the son of Maryrita Rouse and William Howard Nemenz. He graduated from Cathedral Prepartory School in Erie before attending Elon University in Elon, North Carolina on a baseball scholarship. Billy was a radio account executive in the Triad for a number of years. Billy truly loved life to its fullest and will be remembered by all for his true free spirit.

Survivors include his wife Darleen Smith Nemenz of the home; mother and father Maryrita and Bill Nemenz of Erie, PA; brother Bob Nemenz and his wife Beth of Erie, PA; aunt Nancy Nemenz of Alexandria, VA; uncles Howard Nemenz and Libbie of Winston-Salem, NC, and Bob Nemenz and Arlene of Kernersville; aunt and uncle Dave and Jeamer LaCour of Erie, PA; niece Ruby Nemenz; nephew Max Nemenz; and numerous extended family members.
